The Rooster Revival envision the monthly “WE CARE DAY” to be kind of a free for all of whatever kindness you want to bestow upon someone, but doing so intentionally monthly on “WE CARE DAY” for a day of focused good will in a country that needs a moral guiding light. That light will be us encouraging acts of kindness monthly. It just takes one person of good will to get it started. Is that you?
That said, I read this beautiful story about giving fences where people hang up coats for anyone who needs one and I want to encourage everyone to follow this example in their neck of the woods on February 25th. It’s still cold out.
The Rooster Revival wants to encourage you to participate by creating a giving fence on “WE CARE DAY” February 25th.
There are so many in need of warmth. We’re going to start something in our neighborhood. Pin up one or two coats and encourage everyone to join us. Gloves, scarves, coats, boots are all needed. Find them at garage and yard sales, thrift stores etc and then just hang them on a fence “Take me if you need me”. Brilliant! You’ll feel so good doing so.
Kindness begets kindness. Get it started. It will make you feel so good to join this effort to help our neighbors in need and you’ll be helping the Kindness Movement grow.
