I have 3 sheets of precut Styrofoam Brand ST-100 Scoreboard (2-inch, 4' x 8'). I cut them to insulate my 2-car garage door (see pictures). ST-100 is a rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam insulation board that delivers an R-5 thermal rating per inch (R-10 total for 2-inch thickness) and features a gray, moisture-resistant closed-cell structure ideal for exterior cavity walls and foundations.
Key Features Built-in Score Lines: Scored longitudinally on 16-inch and 24-inch centers to easily snap, size, and fit standard stud spacings.
High Compressive Strength: Typically rated at 25 PSI, with 40 PSI options available for heavy-duty applications.
Moisture Resistant: Exceptional water and water vapor resistance prevents water pickup, retaining a long-term, stable R-value.
