compensation: $15 for filling out a short survey in the first part of the experiment. Potential to earn an additional amount for staying an additional 30 minutes for the second part.

Participate in a research study about the value of time with the School of Economic Sciences at WSU! Dr. Joe Cook is conducting an experiment on the Pullman campus to determine how people value their time under different conditions. The experiment has two parts. The first part, which will last 15 minutes, asks you to answer a short survey and earn $15. If you stay for the second part, which will last an additional 30 minutes, you can earn an additional amount of money that will be determined jointly by you and the researchers. The experiment would be scheduled at a time convenient for you; evenings and weekends are possible. We can also compensate you for hourly parking on Wilson Road. Email for more information or to enter the study
This research has been certified exempt for human subjects by WSU’s Institutional Review Board. To discuss any concerns about the study, please contact Prof. Cook at 509-335-3817.
