Nearly mint condition 1925 Vega Regent plectrum banjo (4-string, 22-fret, 27" scale length). Made in Boston, MA featuring a figured maple and ebony three-piece neck, maple pot with tortoiseshell binding and a simple, "Little Wonder" style tonering. This banjo also comes with its original 2-foot ebony capped bridge and Vega wrench for adjusting the head tension. It currently has a "pre-EPA" Remo bottom-frosted head on it and comes with a partial set of period Black Diamond brand Plectrum strings. I purchased as a candidate for a 5-string conversion, but those plans have changed. It plays great as is and would be nice for folk strumming, ragtime/jazz, Irish, or Dixieland. With a 5-string neck, this would be a fantastic clawhammer banjo. Let me know if you'd like to take a look!
