Available for adoption through A Pint-Sized Rescue.
Draco is an approximately 3 month old male mouse. He suffered the loss of his ears while still with his littermates and mother, likely due to overcrowding and high stress amongst the mice he was with. However, this is only a “cosmetic” injury and causes no harm to Draco at this time. He’s just extra unique now.
Draco must remain the only male mouse in his enclosure. Male mice do not get along and will fight, often to mortality, for territory. However, if you’re looking for the perfect little one-on-one companion animal then look no further.
Draco is young, so he should still have another two years or so of life left to share with you. He’s still learning to trust humans, but he doesn’t bite and he enjoys spending time on shoulders or in pockets once you scoop him up. Draco will bond very closely with whoever chooses to bring him into their life.
Included in Draco’s adoption:
•The precious little male mouse
•40 gallon tank as seen in photos
•All hides, toys, wheel, and enrichment shown in the photo of his enclosure
•Mazuri Rat and Mouse food
… in short, everything you need to get you properly started in caring for Draco.
What do we ask of you?
We have a pre-adoption application that we will ask you to complete.
We are very strict about who adopts our animals because our animals ALWAYS come first here at the rescue. We have adopted out over 70 animals in less than two years and have ZERO adoption fails to date. We believe this speaks volumes for our adoption process.
These little ones have all already been through so much by the time they are ready for adoption. Their lives are shorter than many other companion species. They deserve nothing but the best and we always do everything we can to promise that to them.
Are you interested in adopting Draco?
Our website is currently down (due to a crash) so please email any inquiries to the email linked to this post or find us on Instagram or Facebook and we will send you a link to the application.
Mouse adoption with full enclosure setup is $30. And we will deliver him to you – we always do a home inspection (just the space where their enclosure will be) as the last step of adoption.
